The Queensland Winter Circuit provides Australia's leading juniors, Pro Circuit players and established players with high level competitive opportunities and the opportunity to gain maximum Australian Ranking points.

The 2009 sanctioned tournament applications are now open and close on the 18th of July, 2008.  There are six tournament categories available for sanctioning: Australian Money Tournament, National Open Tournament, Optus Junior Tour (AR Ranked Junior Tournament), State Ranking Junior Tournament, +35 Seniors Tournament and Junior Masters Circuit Tournament.

Regional Tennis Facilities Program
The successful applicants under the Regional Tennis Facilities Program were announced by the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh and the Minister for Sport, Judy Spence on 5 November 2007.  This announcement confirmed over $9 million in funding has been jointly committed to this Program by the State Government and Tennis Queensland to deliver a network of world class tennis facilities in regional areas.
