Bondarenko Sisters spearhead Ukraine team for Fed Cup clash
| Sisters Alona and Kateryna Bondarenko, along with Yuliana Fedak and Yulia Beygelzimer, have been selected to represent the Ukraine in the upcoming Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group II playoff against Australia. The tie – the Optus Australian Fed Cup team’s first at home since 2003 – will be played on hard court at Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, from 14-15 July.

The Gold Coast swept the pool winning three of four possible age titles (Under 11s, 13’s and 15’s) resulting in the Gold Coast region claiming the overall winners shield (last won by the Gold Coast in 2005). |
